The PowerMaxx Li draws its enormous power from Li-Power – Metabo’s state-of-the-art lithium-ion technology. It offers many proven advantages over other rechargeable battery technologies: For one, there is no memory effect. Secondly, self-discharging of the cells is kept to a minimum. The capacity of a rechargeable battery device is primarily determined by an optimum relationship between the capacity (Ah) and voltage (V) of the rechargeable battery pack. During the development of the PowerMaxx Li, special attention was focused on the “output volumes” (capacity x voltage), as they are called, and combined with the advantages of the smaller size. Another factor that is just as critical for battery-powered devices as the rechargeable batteries themselves is the charging technology. Metabo, renowned for its innovative solutions in this field, has set new standards with its LC 60 device.

The individual cell monitor ensures that the individual cells are optimally charged which in turn extends the life of the rechargeable battery pack.

High level of user comfort:
The LED charger display allows you to see the charging state of the rechargeable batteries at a glance. If the lamp flashes green, the battery is still being charged. If it continuously lit, the battery is fully recharged.

Safety for users:
The malfunction alarm alerts you to possible malfunctions and prevents improper use of the rechargeable battery pack. If the lamp flashes red, the rechargeable battery is defective. If it continuously lit, the temperature is still being adapted.

The integrated temperature sensor prevents the rechargeable battery pack from overheating which extends its service life considerably.
