DR 310 L PLANER THICKNESSER (formally known as RD 31 SL): 12" x 9"
With three cutting knives this planer thicknesser is a true professional machine suitable for small to mid sized production environments. The machine is built around a single unit monoblock frame for superb rigidity and quality of finish. The planer has a cutting width of 310 mm and total table length of 1,475 mm for large work pieces. Cutting depth is 5 mm max. The machine comes with cast iron tables with tilting 'gull wing' design for ease of access when thicknessing. The 1,100 mm long planing fence can be retracted rather than removed during this operation to help ensure a quick and safe transition between the two modes. The thicknessing height is 230 mm with 4 mm depth. Cast iron thicknessing table with cast iron centre column for complete stability and rigidity giving even, consistent results time after time. The machine can be fitted with the SECURIT’5 powerfeed unit (optional extra).
